Over his illustrious career, which has now spanned for more than a decade, Fedde Le Grand has constantly made an effort to develop and reinvent his music. Now, the DJ heavyweight returns with Dancing Together, a track that not only signifies a new beginning for the Dutchman and his production style, but also marks a new beginning for his label Darklight Recordings as it joins Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music.

Demonstrating his innate ability to effortlessly move into a different genre, Dancing Together, flirts with a tribal, tech-house vibe, a contrast to previous productions but no less hard-hitting. A powerful cut from beginning to end, the track brims with a dominant bass sequence and empowering percussion, as well as sending an important message with the vocal topline: “people of all nations, dancing together”, a message that seems needed now more than ever. Fedde Le Grand feat. Erene – Immortal (The Remixes)

August 26, 2016

OUT NOW: https://FeddeLeGrand.lnk.to/Immortal-TheRemixes

Released to critical acclaim earlier this year, Fedde’s first album for 6 years, ‘Something Real’, reaffirmed the fundamental truth that the best things in life are always worth waiting for. Now Fedde has called upon two producers to throw their hats into the remix ring for his album highlight, ‘Immortal’ featuring Erene. First up is French DJ Tony Romera, who exploded onto the scene four years ago with his unique style of French-house inspired beats. Taking the track into darker, more dubstep-esque realms, Romera injects ‘Immortal’ with a new energy and intensity.

Dutch dance legend Leroy Styles steps up next, and takes thing in a different direction with his tribal house refix. Running more parallel to the original but still creating a new soundscape, Leroy cuts up the vocal and lays it over a funky four to the floor kick and syncopated bass line.

Also added to the mix is an acoustic take on ‘Immortal’, something rarely seen on dance remixes packages. Stripping the original down to a guitar, vocal, strings and drum kit, Fedde gives the track a new texture, that is both musically interesting, and ethereal in nature.

May 27, 2016

OUT NOW: Keep On Believing – The Remixes http://feddelegrand.lnk.to/KeepOnBelievingRemix

Having invited a trio of talent from across the spectrum of dance music to throw their hat into the remix ring, Fedde has managed to put together an eclectic mix of different sounds, styles and variations of his mid-album monster, ‘Keep On Believing’.

Lost Causes
First up is fellow countryman Lost Causes, who transforms the track into a bassy deep house jam. A genre that has taken the world by storm in recent months, Lost Causes does it perfect justice by utilising thick, bass stabs, syncopated drum patterns, and the iconic vocal from the original.

Zilverstep
Zilverstep takes the reins next and crafts the track into a summer-flooded house track. Ringing true to the aesthetic of the original, the Dutchman blends emotive synths, a pulsating bass and a saxophone solo to create a track that will undoubtedly be lighting up festivals and clubs in the months to come. Zilverstep, who shot to fame after winning Netherland’s Dancetour DJ contest, is on course to being the next major dance act to come out of Holland.

Raiden
Last but by no means the least is rising South Korean star, Raiden, who ramps up the energy to dizzy new heights with his particular brand of electro house. Taking cues from the likes of Porter Robinson, Knife Party and 3LAU, Raiden offers up a production master-class in remixing, complimenting the original while confidently asserting his distinct style. Having graced the main stages at Ultra Miami, Ultra Korea and Ultra Japan, and having just capped off a major tour of Asia, this dance prodigy is certainly one to keep an eye on this year.
